I got a haircut on wednesday and I need to go every 3 weeks in the summer, can go as long as 5 when its not summer. My stylist said its due to the sun exposure to more vitamin D.


But she couldn't explain why the HELL my fingernails all grow at a different pace!

I have a 20 month year old nephew that I might see every 4 months. I saw him last Sunday. I was absolutely stunned by this kid, how he holds the linneage. I see my mom in his eyes, and my paternal grandfather in his eyes and face. Truely mind-blowing and a blessing, this little tyke.


Its hard to objectify linneage like that. that whole bridge of the past through us reaching from far far back and into tomorrow. To see it that way. Cute kid, in spite of the fact I see that he has inherited my mother's and mine tempers!

i noticed the other day that there was an aspirin in the burner. My husband said that he dropped it either in the night or morning. I tried to get it out but was in a hurry and decided to leave it for later. My husband assumed that I got it out. I was stirring the meat while he was cutting up veggies and I kept telling him how bad the meat smelled. He said venison always smells funny. This went on thru all the cooking. I thought I was going to throw up. He was starting to take offense. When we were all done I remembered about the aspirin. As soon as I said it I knew that was it. I think the aspirin we have smells really bad and cooking it only made it worse!! I then lit a candle.
