I'm bummed.

We had plans to go see the OK Sisters Live on Friday night.

I just got and email from Ok Sister Kate and found out that the place where they were going to be double-booked and the Sisters lost.

Fooey!

I was looking forward to getting out of here for a night of fun and good music. We'll catch them another time.

for what its worth (probably not all that much LOL) I will be joining riggs in the studio on friday. I have off of work that day (my birthday is the day after yer wife's and I NEED A VACATION)- so if she has off on her birthday, I hope she can join you and tune into the Riggs and JD show Friday morning! NO COVER CHARGE! GREAT MUSIC!! REQUESTS TAKEN!! A couple of miked-up dancing clowns.....

Yes, she has Friday off . . . she works in a bank so they are closed for her birthday.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to listen. The boy gets to stay with grandpa and grandma and we're going to be driving to Lincoln on Friday morning. We are going to do some shopping, drop off the chest of drawers I'm finishing this week, and spend Friday night with friends.

We'll come back home Saturday. It's a home Husker game in Lincoln. After living there for 8 years, we know what it's like on game day. It's a mess all morning then very quiet until the game is over. After the game, good luck trying to get anywhere. So, we'll probably time it to where we head back home just before the game is over.

well I am glad you have some better alternatives lined up! LOL THE RIGGS AND JD SHOW SHOULD ONLY BE AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE STRAPPED TO THEIR DESKS ANYHOW!! THUS PROVING THAT ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN WORK!!!
