My Man: I don't really like this song, but I'm still impressed. He's definately adapting to the current style...

I was afraid he is falling into a familar routine of being trite with the hip guest-singers and what-not. A familiar formula. But that Trinity song was beautiful!

I know the guest-star albums make a mint for Carlos, but I'd like to see him eschew that next album around and get a band together.  Hell, get Gregg Rolie and Neil Schon back and do an album like that, something Carlos can tour with.    He's running this into the ground almost as badly as Rod Stewart is with the standards albums (thankfully Rod has already stated this is his last standards album and the next one is back to pop/rock).    I also liked Trinity too.

I hear you anf. this is all well and good, but I agree get neil schon back in there, and bring the old school back.

glad to hear that about Rod Stewart! When I have my 6o-something mom calling me going "Have you heard of Rod Stewart ever?? I like him! he is sucn a nice singer!!" - I throw on Every Picture Tells A Story and Maggie May and beat my head against the wall.

lol.  I really don't have anything against standards, they can be nice every once and awhile, but four standards albums in 3 years is just too much.   I like the way Carly Simon has done them, she has done four standards albums as well (the most recent from this year) but has stretched them out over a 25 year period and does one about every 7 or 8 years.

thats what I love about The Stones. NO COMPROMISE!! You'd never see MiCK and KEEF out there going "yea.....here's Tip Toe Through The Tulips...."
