When is Monday like Monday?

Way too often.

Good day all.

It was a roller coaster of a holiday and weekend.  On the positive aspect, we got to see our families, play with babies and puppies, and I got a ton of shopping done without getting into the whole Black Friday mess.

Morning all. The time off was nice. I dreaded coming back in here. I have a NJ auditor here today. I am still waiting on some paperwork from a few clients. Nevermind that I called a few of these people weeks ago for this information. I hope it gets here fast. Let's hope it all goes well today with this auditor. I am hoping to clear a lot of large remaining items. If she clears all the items as I hope, the overall audit damage won't be too bad and I can get out for my estimate of around $10k. I'll be happy with that, as my current estimate is at $233k.

Audit on.

Audits just don't sound like much fun at all.

Why do Mondays have to be so Monday-ish?

They are not fun. Especially when you have to sit down with an auditor and go line by line. I've never really done that before. Most will provide a clean list of outstanding items and you can go froom there. But nooooo, this one works from the original files and it is so much harder to track and clear. I cleared most of the expenses. I knew there would be just a little bit out there. $536 on six months worth of expenses isn't bad at all. Considering that all four items were on expense reports, which don't get reviewed for use tax purposes, I think we did pretty well. Actually, I did pretty well. It'll probably cost about $2,100 and that is pretty good for a four year audit. She is gone now but I am not finished with her. I still need the information to clear the sales items.

Hola, peeps! I'm back from vacation(ish) as well. It is sort of nice to be back in the office so I can get a break from my vacation. Some fine day I will actually go someplace and do something relaxing instead of stay home and work on the house. On the up side, I'm significantly further along with the work on the exterior of the house than I thought I would be at this point.

Back at the office, things are pretty calm right now. We are in the end of the year slow down, which this year actually is a slow down. I managed to force myself to do the end of the year merrit review paperwork. That was my major work committment for the rest of the year. Otherwise, there is just not a lot going on.

Hope everyone has been having a wonderful day.

They call it stormy Monday, yes but Tuesday's just as bad.
They call it stormy Monday, yes but Tuesday's just as bad.
Wednesday's even worse; Thursday's awful sad.

The eagle flies on Friday, Saturday I go out to play.
The eagle flies on Friday, but Saturday I go out to play.
Sunday I go to church where I kneel down and pray.

And I say, "Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.
Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.
Just trying to find my baby, won't you please send her on back to me."

Lord, oh Lord have mercy, yeah, won't you please, please have mercy on me.
I'm just a-lookin' for my sweet babe,
So won't you please send him home, send him on home to me."
