I was nervous for a bit. The defense gave up too much but the offense is starting to play like last year. If that continues..............march on to Detroit!
It's almost scary to think what they could do. The knock on them is they haven't faced anyone with a winning record, with the exception of Jacksonville. They are playing a first place schedule. A schedule established by the NFL. It's not their fault the teams they're playing are below .500. They have 1-7 Houston this Sunday then face Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, who have lost two games apiece. Plus they have Seattle on the road. The schedule would seem to be tougher. But they are playing very well. I'm glad to see to a man that they didn't over emphasis this game. It only makes them 8-0, not the win that puts them in the Super Bowl. They have not been looking beyond the next game. As long as they continue to do that they should be hard to beat.
Here's today's shocking fact. Coach Tony Dungee is 51-0 when his teams have lead by at least 14 points.
