for the week before it hits street, MTV.com is streaming Madonna's "Confessions On A Dance Floor". All I can say is that this is the album we've been waiting from for her for years. It's all upbeat, dancy and there's no overt spiritual (save "Isaac") or political overtones to this album. I'd compare this with Cher's "Living Proof" album. I doubt it will be huge in the States considering we're too hung up on hip hop to embrace this style of music right now, but it will be huge in Europe where electronic music is more embraced.
BTW, wait until you hear the album version of "Hung Up", I thought the radio edit (which is on this site, I provided it to Riggs) was okay but it didn't really stand out too much for me, the album version of it is fantastic.
