Stevie: I do and even have the light on it at night. I keep it out all the time. I have a neighbor that actually complained because they didn't like the light at night. I of course put in a brighter bulb.

Good for you. I would have done the same thing. The veteran across the street from me and I both have our flag poles lite up and a couple of people have commented how nice it is to look over the houses and see the flags flying proudly high up to the heavens.

Are you a vet? I spent 10 years in the Air Force.

I deeply regret that I am not a Vet. But, my ancestors were right back to the Revolutionary War. I was not born then, but had two Great Uncles on the Arizona on the fateful December Day at Pearl Harbor. I have many cousins in the service. I have a brother in Iraq right now.
