Belief in the product you deliver

When I look at the music of the past decade, with a few exceptions, it seems to be a well-formulated piece of crap meant to tap into the purchasing power of the 12-21 yr old music-buying market. Lets release a cd with a hit, 9 more tracks of crap, make a fortune on the marketing of our crap to an audience too young to discern quality, but seeks to self-identify with the perceived hipness of the day. This is why we have 14 yr old girls and boys walking around in storm trouper uniforms with a lot more zippers.

At least Jim Morrison and the Doors believed in their music. And Miles Davis.

JD

I'm going to be a smartass because that is what I'm best at. So you're saying the Doors believed in their music and Miles Davis? Interesting.
