all time favorite sitcoms

what are among your all time favorite sitcoms?    I get to review DVD's for free so I got a review copy of The Golden Girls season 3,  and both seasons five and six of Seinfeld are coming on DVD in two weeks, so I was wondering.   What are the fave sitcoms of those here?

Among mine:  Seinfeld, The Golden Girls, Roseanne, The Facts Of Life, Sex And The City, Happy Days, Diff'rent Strokes, Gimme A Break

I loved Greatest American Hero, Moonlighting, Miami Vice.

But my ALL TIME FAVORITE, that I'm praying will come out on DVD was Family Ties. I LOVED that show. Still do.

I always enjoyed  Newhart , it's setting and quirky cast made for some good laughs.

Bob -  that..., that would be me.

Hi ! I'm Larry , this is my brother..

always thought the lady who played Bob's wife (Mary Frann ?) was  a catch , (guess it was that 'older women' thing )

sad side note - she passed away a year or so ago , that frkin ovarian cancer

I also liked WKRP , always thought the girl who played Bailey ( Jan Smithers ?)  could give Loni a run for the money in a bikini contest.

Barney Miller is great, it was very philisophical. Notice how the action never really left the jail.

I love All In The Family; everyone was brilliant in that show.

Dick Van Dyke show for comedic timing. The comedic timing was awesome!

JR...

Good call...

I loved WKRP...that one may take awhile to hit dvd because of the music licensing rights

I also thought Bossom Buddies was a fun show...but I remember the Promos ABC did for it and it just looked so stupid...cant judge a book by its cover

Oh, definitely.  She was 'stealth hot.'  They made her look like a dork but she was beautiful.

I loved that show, too.  Others (from newer back):

Girlfriends.

That '70s show.

Drew Carey.

Sex and the City.

Seinfield.

Moonlighting.

Cheers.

Taxi.

MASH.
