Just sitting around, waiting for the rain to start freezing. And doing a little work too. Brian has a doctor's appointment at 1:30, and the snow's supposed to start around 12, so I'm hoping it's not too messy when I have to drive him to that.
I'm in a basement of an old building most of today. Back at home, I plan to try and do something creative. Did some sketching yesterday. It was warm out so, I sat on the patio and sketched the patio. Hmm.

Morning all. We still have some rain but at least it is about 50*. This morning's fun was trying to figure out why all the heavy trucks decided it was okay for them to be in the left lane and only go 60mph. And then hold up a line of traffic. No, don't get out of the way and in the other lane where you belong or anything. It started out near home with three full dump trucks. Grrr. We eventually had an opportunity to make our way around them so off we went. Then we ran into another guy. He was one of those tractor trailer like but really dump truck like things. He got in the way, but then we got caught up to the crawling traffic and there was not way around him. Nonetheless, I am here and still waiting for other people to do their jobs so I can finish pieces of mine. Blah.

Good day, all. Please allow me to just say, "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!". Presently cloudy and 15*... ya know... what January in Kansas is supposed to feel like. I didn't miss this. As predicted, not much in the way of snow last night. The roads weren't too bad on the way in this morning. It is just oppressively cold. Supposed to be a low of 9* overnight with wind chills in the negative digits.
Looking at the ol' calendar for today... not much going on. I'm not complaining though. In the next couple weeks work will pick up and I will be getting kicked in the head all day long for a while. I'm trying to enjoy the peace and quiet while I have it.
Hope everybody has a great day... for those of you about to enjoy the lovely winterosity that just passed out of my area: Drive careful!

Cold is the word. It was 5 degrees with a very cold wind. It's 17 now.
I had another counseling meeting today. That went well. I'm sitting in Culver's now looking at my lunch. I think I shall eat it. Then I'll start the hour drive back home.
The wind has settled down here somewhat, but I'm still not looking forward to the drive home. Mostly that is because I'm not looking forward to the O.P. Death March to my truck in the parking garage in the 19*.
