It's warmer than yesterday, but still only 12°. We're supposed to get up to the mid 20's. The long range forecast looks about like today.
We are going to Mrs Web's work "Christmas" party tomorrow night. It is in Grand Island which is about 90 miles from here. It is to be dinner and a comedian, but they won't say who the comedian is. They are being kind of silly about not saying who is coming, like we're going to be blown away when we find out. I suspect either it really is someone big, OR they are just trying to get interest so more people will come. We'll find out tomorrow night.
Morning all. I'm glad it is Friday. It's been a long week. I expect it'll not be a full day for me. Since I did my time this week, I anticipate an early departure for me. I think I see a 3-3:30 kind of day. By then I will have done 48 hrs so that should be enough.
Let's get back to work.

Web, you've got to let us know who the comedian is, just in case.
We're kind of wondering if it might be Larry The Cable Guy. That's just a wild guess. I don't expect them to get too carried away. The bank has a total of about 200 employees and they are pretty tight fisted with this kind of thing. I can't see them spending a HUGE amount of money on entertainment. We'll see.
Good day, all! I'm so darn happy that it is Friday. This week has seemed like it had a few extra days thrown into it. Presently it is 19* and cloudy. Rumor has it we might hit 30* today. We'll see.
It is yet another "not a lot going on" kind of day. Just got off of one conference call that I really didn't need to be on. Patiently waiting for my next meeting that I actually do need to attend at 2PM. Long slog of not much else in between.
Web... I hope the comedian is enjoyable.

I scampered out about 3:40. My etch came and stood next to me right after I put my jacket on.

Then she proceeded to talk anyway. As is standard, I told her things I've told her before and things she should know since I told her to do before. You know she came over here this morning to give me an update and tried to ask me a question about something I already told her to do on Friday. Duh. I don't know what to do with her. I shouldn't have to be responsible for her. And her boss is useless. To begin with, she shouldn't be reporting to this guy. Apparently he is too busy and/or important to deal with her or with my boss who is trying to recover some work from her since she is a liability. Granted, I don't want the work. But if I'm already involved with it and doing related things anyway, why not just take it?
