Correct!

1994

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) was established in 1994 to rate video games, in response to a Senate investigation over violence in games. Large letters appear on video game packaging indicating what age groups are appropriate for various games, and whether there is violent or risqué content. Concern over the violence of video games goes back as far as 1976, when public outcry over the violence of Death Race 2000 (players earned points by running over stick figures) led the manufacturer to pull the game off the market.

What event caused numerous video game manufacturers to make changes to their products?

The Columbine school shootings

War in Iraq
