I was running late this morning, so I didn't grab coffee on the way in, and I'm out of my stash at work. Man, I wish there was a coffee delivery service!
Blah, not really. The boy is happy. For me, it just means working at/from home.
The water heater seemed to be running out quicker than it should lately so I put new elements in it today. I seem to have to do that about once a year. We will see if that helps.
The boy has a friend coming over any time now. He will be here most of the afternoon. They will have fun, but that means I need to stay closer to keep track of what's going on with them.
So, you aren't going to be helping me with stuff today? Are you really trying to tell me you are too busy because you have to keep an eye on the kids? Hmmm. Seems shady. I think you just don't want to help me.

Someone has to explain to me why I have to write a jurisdiction a check for 34 cents. Yes, 0.34. Really?!? How can there not be a minimum? It cost you more to mail me the return. It cost me more to pick up the phone and actually ask you if I had to actually write you a check for 0.34. That doesn't include all the work I had to do to get to the point where I even had to ask. That is a whole 0.17 to each the township and the school district.

Kids are so demading. They want to eat. They want to play. They want to squeal. They want to beat each other up. Oh wait, that is just my nieces. Now squealing while beating each other up is always a good one.
By the way, may I quit now? I don't understand why this is so hard. A PA vendor should really know that when shipping items to DE that they should not be charging sales tax. (In case you are unaware, there is no sales tax in DE. There are only five states that do not have sales tax.)

It depends. Most of the time you don't. However, if you are a company that has nexus in multiple states, you could possibly charge and collect sales tax when you ship from one state to another.
The bigger problem I was starting to find was that they were charging tax on out of state shipments but not charging it on items shipped within the state. I haven't seen too many invoices and was referencing some invoices that someone brought me to ask the question. So I have asked to see the entire file. That ought to be fun.
