Are we sure it is only Tuesday? If someone wouldn't mind throwing something at me every so often to make sure I'm awake that'd be great.
I finished all the KY returns before I left last night. They were the bigger mess, but they had to be done first since there are payments due with a lot of them. Now the boss can go through them, tell me they are good and then I can write the check requests. I also corrected the two MO and one OR last night. Wrote the check requests for those this morning and got them off to the boss. I have the guy in AP making me copies of invoices for my month end questions. I had a muffin for breakfast. I have sent some emails. I did a few other things. Now I think it is time to finally get into the OH returns. Hopefully the updates won't take long.

Stop trying to be what you see. Be what you ought to be.
We went to the bank to close out our checking and savings accounts. Fortunately, the lesser of the two evils was able to help us. It was going fine . . . then the etch got involved. She made a little comment that Mrs Web tried to ignore. Another snide comment was made and my wife told her "All I'm going to say is that you need to watch your back". She meant that the etch needs to be careful with her employer because they are not afraid to sacrifice employees to prove a point. Now, I think the etch thought she meant: "Watch your back because I'm going to get even with you."
That started things rolling. The claws came out and it got nasty. Name calling, yelling, accusations flying, it was ugly. Five times, my wife said "I'm done with you" and went quiet. Each time the etch came back "Fine, I'm done with you too!" but then immediately turned around and started flinging more poo which got all going again.
My wife was mad at me for not jumping in. I don't know what I was supposed to do. They were arguing about bank stuff, it's not like I would know what all they were arguing about. Plus, I thought they were done, then each time, it started all over again.
We still have a couple CDs there that are maturing May 2nd. My wife said we will be driving to another branch to close those out so she never has to see this etch ever again.
The main thing that started it was one piece of paper. Just after we walked in, my wife said "I need to get one thing out of my file" and she walked around the desk to the main files and got what she wanted. As she was doing that, the Etch said "Well, I have to watch you to see what you're doing . . . . OH! I know what you're after!"
My wife got her paper and stuffed it in her purse. I thought it was the end of it.
Later, during the fight, the etch told my wife that she was going to have my wife prosecuted for taking bank property (that paper). My wife yelled at her that it was her personal item that she had just left in a file. They argued about that. Finally, my wife said "Fine, if you want it, you can have it and she took it out of her purse, tore it to shreds and threw the pile on the counter."
I suspected this paper might have something to do my wife's "friend". After we got back out to the van, my wife told me "If she actually does anything about this, all that was, was a document that said that if anything should happen to me, ["friend"] does not have to pay back the ($6,000) loan I gave him." Etch knew all about it because she was the one that did the wire transfer to him (they can't do their own transfers).
I THINK that etch thinks that I don't know anything about "friend" and that I might not even know about the "loan". I'm a little surprised that etch didn't tell me a bunch of stuff thinking she would blow it open between me and Mrs Web.
I really don't expect to ever see it. I doubt that he will ever have an extra $6k to send back by choice, and I really doubt that my wife will ever push him to pay it back.
I'm not really sure why she feels that if she were to die tomorrow, he doesn't still owe me the money. I don't think today is the day to press this issue though.
