this was long after Ron Howard left, during the season that Scott Baio and Erin Moran left to do "Joanie Loves Chachi", they brought in Crystal to play the Cunningham's niece who lived with them, and they also brought in Billy Warlock (who went onto greater fame on Days Of Our Lives, Baywatch and General Hospital, and is back on DOOL as we speak) to play the Chachi-ish younger brother of Ted McGinley to fill in some of the gap left.
