    well I guess the holiday has took it's toll , all the early birds seem to be late .


 a quiet 56 this am , the clouds aren't helping much. C'mon sun!

Family slept, then everyone wanted a different hot breakfast. Cooked, now clean then back to the stores- time to deck the house!

Hey Dave, just so you don't think we're lying when we announce numbers, that graph doesn't include the 32k line.

During the day we'll usually have 1 or 2 listening in on that. (Up to 5 or 6 during a weekday), and for some reason JD's Jazz Show usually has at least 4 sometimes even 6 or 7 tuned in on it.

(I guess people like to hear jazz in lower quality, like the good ol' days).

I'm on hold with the Best Buy Rewards Zone line.

They're playing one of those stupid recordings with a guy telling you how great Rewards Zone and Best Buy are.

Problem is, the guy has a HORRIBLE lisp. His S's are so sloppy my ear is getting wet.

Nothing against the guy, but is he the best candidate for this position?!?!?!

Wow, it pays to be nice.

I finally got through to Best Buy after almost 30 minutes on hold and after the guy fixed my issues he said he was going to give me 15,000 bonus points for being nice to him today.

Turns out he's been getting yelled at all day and was glad to have someone that was nice for a change!

WOO HOO!

Truth is, if I didn't have a speaker phone that I could have on during the hold time I might have been a bit more surly too, but as long as I don't have to sit there with that phone against my head for 30 minutes I don't mind the wait.
