This is wild! We know Webguy's getting snow, while we're getting a downpour here in Indiana. It looks a little messier up in Wisconsin. How are you guys doing?
We have the mostly cloudy with occassional breaks of sun here. It is due to be up over 60 today and tomorrow. It would be nicer if the sun were out in full force.

It was raining here this morning, but that has stopped. Supposed to be light snow this afternoon. Looking at that map, it looks like the light snow front should be hitting here in the next few hours. YAY! Just in time for the drive home. People around KC tend to lose their entire minds when it snows. They forget how to drive... standard road rules apparently no longer apply.

I understand what you mean Mad Mema. We lived in Lincoln for about eight years. The first snow of winter was always the worst. It was like people forgot what snow was. Accidents and cars stuck everywhere with a confused look on their face like "hey, I didn't know this stuff was slick".
In Bloomington, it usually snows one day, then melts the next, then freezes. Or we just get freezing rain. I want to rent a billboard that says, "The worst thing you can do on ice is brake!" Haven't people ever heard of coasting?
Hey, that's pretty cool, I just noticed the weather map is updating itself. They must just replace the old image with the updated one and keep the same name. Cool!
Mrs. Web reminded me that she has tomorrow off so we don't have to get out in the morning. I scooped out the front and back door again. I looked down the street and there is just a one-car path where a loader went through. About two blocks down there is a pickup stuck right in the middle of the street with a couple people trying to dig it out.
I'm not sure that I can even get my 4wd pickup out of my own driveway. The wind is packing the drifts in pretty hard. We'll see how that goes tomorrow.
Back inside, made some hot chocolate and we'll not worry about it until tomorrow.
I was just outside a few minutes ago. It's still snowing a bit, but at least it is not sticking. Perhaps we will get a small dumb driver reprieve. I can sort of understand the people who forget the slick road rules. What I can't understand is the people who drive 12 MPH on the interstate or the people who can't remember how to park in the same parking lots they have used for years. These things don't change just because of a little precipitation!
