On the way back from lunch, I saw the volunteer fire department had the ladder truck out with the big flag on it. I had to stop and grab a couple shots.
These are both "HDR" (processed). Some people LOVE HDR, and some HATE it with a passion. To me, it just depends on if you are trying to capture the moment exactly as it was in real life, or if you are trying to make an interesting, maybe even creative photo.
I dunno, I like it as long as it's not too heavily done. The first one is about where I like it, the second is a little stronger than I prefer.

The FD posted on their FB page that they set it up for media photos. An organization and a family in town donated the flag to the FD. They set it up so the paper could take pictures to do an article on it. I just got it taken and posted before they did.
