You'd think they would have already known this information but It appears it is really hard to determine your exact location when you are on the inside looking out.

Do you care where we're at in the galaxy? It's cool info, but they could've told us the galaxy was shaped like a pomegranite, and it really wouldn't make a difference to me on a personal level.

It does make you realize how small we really are. Thanks for sharing, Web!

I guess what surprised me was that we didn't already know where we are in the galaxy. I assumed that was determined a long time ago.

But no, it doesn't really matter . . . thus the reason I titled the thread as I did.
