It seems that a few sellers have been caught trying to auction the cardboard boxes that their XBox 360 came in. According to this article some bids went as high as $600 before it was noticed that they were carefully worded descriptions of the XBox box, not the machine.

"This is the Xbox 360 Core bundle box. It would include things like a new xbox, power cords, and a controller, if there was actually an xbox for sale in this auction," read one of the listings, which was still active Friday night.
