well the Pac won a game ! what a comedy ! never laughed so hard at a football game in my life ! easy to see why they both have losing records , its called the coaching staff . I think they got the refs at the same store .
Good morning all. It's 26 degrees and nice and icy here. Luckily, although I slipped several times, I did not fall, but I know Mz took a pretty good fall this weekend. Her leg and hip are all bruised up. So anyone in the cold states, watch out for ice, especially when getting in your car!
Sorry to hear about MZ falling, hope she is not hurting too bad, hope you all have a good day, my first half has been ok, so let the second half begin.
Good morning, afternoon all. Although my weekend was busy it was relaxing too. In fact I'd still like to be relaxing!! I posted some photos from the lake. It was fantastic will all the snow. It wasn't hard to get into the Christmas mood.
Glad to hear you had a relaxing time this weekend Ray, I bet the Colts winning again helped too and gaining home-field advantage has got be a good thing.
Ultimo, you are right. Life in Colts land is very good. I really believe the only team that can beat the Colts is themselves. The big question is what to do now that home field is secure through the AFC playoffs? Do you play the starters, do you rest them? Do you go for the unbeaten record? The players want to play and the playoffs would start in 5 weeks for the Colts. I don't think you can put the offense and defense on the shelf and expect them to perform at the current level. The nay-sayers argue that an injury could occur. Well that's true but an injury can happen any time. I think you play until you feel like the game is in control and then turn it over to the back ups. Give the starters a good three quarters.
So the Wolves had another draw? A few more wins and they would be in the hunt for the league title. Now how many teams can advance to the upper division? Is it the top three or top team?
Web, did you ever get into double digits this weekend? It looked like it was cold. In two weeks I'm taking a couple days off before and after Christmas. You know, you have to pace yourself over the holidays.
I know what you mean about the Colts, it is a hard decsion to make whether to rest players or not, I wouldn't personally, I would keep going for the unbeaten record and have the players on a high going into the playoffs then through to the superbowl hopefully.
Wolves have to start winning a few games soon if we want to be pushing for a top position, the top two teams go up automatically then another through a play off system, I think the best we can hope for this year is a spot in the playoffs.
With 3 1/2 months still to play they can get things turned around. If they could string 3-4 wins together that may give them enough confidence to get on a roll.
Hello all! 38 degrees and partly cloudy here today. The residential streets are an ice rink around here, but the main roads are good going. Pambo should be back with us soon.
