the Monday after

Good AM all ! ,a crisp clear 43 here today . Some running around -nothing special- do the dishes type of day.   I see / here we have tunes again and thats a good thing , had to blow about 9 inches of dust off my cds yesterday , surprised they still played.   reminds me of my youth , when an LP or 45 got to scratched up , well it was skeet season then .   Pull !!

And a Happy Boxing Day to our friends over yonder . Not sure what it is but I'll know in a few minutes .

Staying home today- no daycare and I refuse to take little E out for fear of her getting crushed!!

Will be in play dough heaven again. If you close your eyes and smell play dough you will swear that you are 6 again!!!

Boxing Day -  It's kinda like when you give money to the paper boy , mailman etc. at Christmas . 'cept they do it the day after . Origins are a little unclear as there are a few theories.

Playdough - a vacuums worst nightmare,

You smell that son  ? thats playdough , nothing else in the world smells like it. I love the smell of playdough in the morning .. smells like childhood.

Onced we had this hill doughed for 24 hr.s . The next day we didn't find one Gumby, not one single Pokey , but that smell ...

I'm with dave on its a do this dishes kind of day, cept for me its laundry and organizing paperwork.

I hate shopping, but I'd like to go today-but I won't because of the bedlam- I received a nice gift card for Kohls and could go stock up on jeans and socks!

Why, oh, why do you torture yourselves with such wintry weather?  My mom is here from 'sconsin.  she said it was 17 degrees in GB when she left yesterday.  We reached 80 and today will cool down to 75.  My furnace is on now warming me up from the cool 45 degree evening.

Will be a relaxing day  just a few errands to run, then will sit on the patio with my mom enjoying the sunshine, listening to ffr, watching Judge Judy and avoiding the egg nog for surgery tomorrow.

Good luck with the surgery tomorrow CP.

I'm staying home today. Mrs. Web has the day off and the boy will play with his new toys all day. They are still sleeping off the Christmas hangover.

Looks like it's going to be a nice day here.

Your Mom picked a great time to leave ! I imagine the Sconsin's airports are full today of people leaving to find a winning team.

Web, aren't kids the best.  All of my troubles melted away for the day as I watched the excitement in my daughters eyes in anticipation for Santa on the Eve.  We tracked him through that link you provided.

She was excited to open her gifts, didn't want to go to church, but I made her anyway.

I am justr swinging by to say hi. It has been one of those days. Cleaning the mess that was made over the weekend. Laundry, sheets, towels, vacuuming, scrubbing. Fun fun! I wasn't really going to venture out today. I am adverse to being run over by some impatient idiot.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and is looking forward to a new year.
