made a new ferret condo today. this 1 is single story , 5 ft. long , 2 ft .hi , 2 ft wide.
it will be wall - mounted . plenty of room to sleep as they have the run of the house during the day. it's made with cedar (rough sawn ) and luaon (?) paneling and half inch ' rabbit wire'.
the 'old one ' is 6 ft long , 2 ft. wide and 3 ft. tall ( it's 2 stories ) (complete with banister ) and sits on a nice cedar stand . As I am moving into a studio apt. I can use the extra space. I'll take it to my vet. He'll find a good home for it . Hate to see it go , customized the heck out of it. brass hinges ,screws , notched n mitred etc. When I made it I was in a much bigger place and wanted the 'crew ' to be in the main part of the house with me so I wanted it to look really nice.
Damn , I think I just talked myself out of letting it go.
