I absolutely hate, "At the end of the day." One time, at a companywide meeting, we played BS bingo (which was my idea and I totally got in trouble for) where you identified the catch phrases that the speaker used and marked off that square to see if you got bingo. "At the end of the day" ended up being said over 10 times!

Physically challenged/physically disabled. I admit to using that second one myself, but that's just because there' hasn't been a better term!

Yeah, that's a good one. And there's variation of it on the list!

I've heard LOCK n' LOAD a bit too often in the past 12 months.

Come on Mel! You're a bright gal! You should start a trend with a better phrase, whattya got for us?

Oh, got another! "Advocate." Companies are using that word without really knowing what it means. A customer service person is not an Advocate, they're usually the opposite!!!!

Yes, I agree Molly.

The company I work for is called CS Logistics. LOGISTICS is TOTALLY overused right now. EVERYBODY throws that word into the description of their company.

The next group of six is...

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency I DID KNOW THIS! I'M NOT AN IDIOT I SWEAR!!!!!)

FIRST TIME CALLER

PASS THE SAVINGS ON TO YOU

97% FAT FREE

AN ACCIDENT THAT DIDN'T HAVE TO HAPPEN

JUNK SCIENCE

NO KIDDING RUBY!

What the heck? Why does anyone Brad Pitt dates now have to be meshed into his name?

It's just like how EVERY scandal is a GATE now.

I mean, Watergate was a GATE because it was the WATERGATE building.

But every political scandal since has to have the word GATE tagged to the end.

not that I have a problem with the idea of diversity, but just that its thrown out there as a an empty buzz-word of  business and educational institution richeousness.

Issue... we never have outages/failures/troubles... we have "issues".

Downsizing / right sizing / rationalizing.... all euphamisms for layoff.

Okay... since I already know it's on the University list... Erectile Dysfunction.  We all know it exists, but really... doesn't Bob Dole give you the willies (so to speak) when he talks about it?

remeber how everyone hated "synergy" and "paradigm" in 2004, and how there were hardly used in 2005?

It sounds like some people here might appreciate BS Bingo. Just make sure you don't have any narks playing along with you!

Clearly sir, you do not work for Sprint-Nextel. We are all extra synergistic around here!
