that was one of them songs I really dug when I was like 12, then totally forgot about until like a year ago!


DO you remember the video for the song? Tony Carey's video acting was SOOO BAD LOL.  Such forced melodrama!

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Freeze-Frame Radio reintroduce you to that song JD?

I seem to recall playing it one night while you were tuned in and you were going nuts because you had forgotten all abou the song and were so excited to have rediscovered it.

Me too.  Gretchen Peters is a great songwriter.  Did you see the Farrah movie "The Burning Bed"?  It reminds me of that movie.

I've never even heard of Tony Carey.  Where have I been?  Oh yeah.  I lived in Idaho (mostly, anyway) until I was 20-ish.

Tony Carey was the keyboardist in Rainbow for a short while, and was in The Planet P Project.  If you listen to "Why Me?", you'll recognize his voice.

Without going into too much detail, it reminds me of my son's father. However I did not kill him, he went to jail on the fourth of July for trying to kill me!

yea riggs it was this station that reintroduced it to me! I think I was cranking tunes, kinda napping on the couch, it came on and I was like "HEY!!!!!!!! HOLY $&# I FORGOT ABOUT THAT ONE!"
