Hey!


If anyone out there is in a jazz mood this afternoon, Freeze Frame is currently broadcasting songs from the Jazz 101 archive on the 32k stream. (see home page to access).


A brand new Underground 80's and Jazz 101 will be aired on both streams begining tonight at 7 pm!

Why, WHAT A SPECTACULAR IDEA!

So tell me sir, if I understand you correctly, you're telling me that I can HAVE my cake and EAT it too?

If I want my requests and pop or rock music, I can listen on 64k, but if per chance I'm more in the mood for some Nina Simone or Ella Fitzgerald I can have that TOO by tuning in the 32k stream?

Why, that's like having TWO stations in one!

Hey riggs I am bringing an arm full of treats tonight!


m&m walnut cookies from C, a bottle of blackberry wine from Hartz, a pint of vanilla icecream so we can try the blackberry  wine over that and see how that goes (as the lady at the winery says some people love!), plus I'll get a pizza tonight! Diet be damned, its the weekend!

Plus I'm really excited to try that wine & Ice Cream combo.

So are we supposed to make it like a float? Or just pour wine over the ice cream in a bowl?

I suppose it's whatever you prefer eh?

I got some perfect glasses for that if you wanna go the float route.

Cap it all off with some Za!

well according to the note hartz sent:


"the hostess who waited on me when I was taste-testing said she's heard of a few people who will pour the blackberry wine over ice-cream, but I haven't tried that yet. If you do, let me know how it is........GO PACKERS!!!!!................................(er wait, Pacers..)


So I think its supposed to be like a topping, but hey may if you are going to do the wine float, more power to you!

Yeah, I think you're supposed to do it like you would a syrup. I don't know how well a wine float would work: no bubbles.

If you pour it over the scoop of ice cream though it would just run right off, leaving no flavor I woudl think.

Unless you make a little opening in the top of the scoops to retain some of the wine.

Hmmm, This may be a science project!

JD, does it still have a cork? I know they've switched over to screw off caps for the fruit wines recently, so you may not need the corkscrew.

I had one that I bought just for last new years eve (04-05) and the first time I used it the darn thing broke off in the cork
