the response to do it on short notice was so overwhelming...my director didn't really have a chance to say no...& the colt presdient WANTED us...so I'm thinking done deal... I just have to hope there is enough room....I MIGHT get squeezed out...but I'm looking bright side...young (only 4 years out of college), know the stand music for the most part....still in decent shape...haven't missed an alumni game since graduation... i'm crossing ALL available apendages...

holy crap! this is sooo cool! thanks for the notes on the perspective of the horn! I thought for a sec trumpets were now redesigned to be more like megaphone trumpets for college games!

Obviously I was rooting for the Colts anyway, but that makes it even cooler! I'm thinking I need to find a way to the game, I'll feel left out, the only Hoosier forum member left not there!

Well Molly be prepared to put a big gash in the old pocketbook. I picked up my playoff tickets for the wife and girls. How silly I was thinking I was getting tickets for both games. I know if you went to the ticket office or Ticketmaster you had to buy for both games. I assumed that was the same getting them through my Colt connection. I was mistaken. I'm disappointed for the girls. The seats are section 316 (upper deck, home side about the 15 yard line) row 16. Cost was $105 each. A guy I know was on the internet looking for tickets and he found some in section 327 row 20. Asking price yesterday $250 apiece.
I was told the NFL sets the price the teams have no say. The same tickets for the AFC Championship game will be around $150-160 face value. So I don't think we'll be doing this two weeks in a row.

I'm hoping me an Mo can meet. That would be another one to mark off the list!

Ray, frankly, I'm not paying for tickets. I'm sure at least one radio station in town will have a contest and be giving away free tickets. I just need to find out who it is and try my best. Or maybe I'll just masquerade as a cheerleader, but for some reason, I don't think that'll work...
