I graduated from high school in '83.  My husband graduated from college the same year.  So you're roughly the same age as he is.  That's cool.  He's no fuddy-duddy so there's no WAY you could be either.

Let me say I'm somewhat proud of the fact that my wife says I act like I'm 16. I don't know how she would know that. I was 21 when we met.
