So, what type of things make your ears bleed? I can deal with almost anything, but I can't stand it when someone pronounces Celtic as "Selltick," or Coupon as "Quepon."
Anyone else? I know I'm not the only neurotic one out there.
One thing I think I've mentioned before is that I'm trying to work on speaking better and without this darn southern indiana accent. I just tried it out, and I do say "couldn't," but the "n't" gets lost. It comes out more like, "I coulden care less."
"Axe" instead of "ask." I can't tell you how many PROFESSIONALS on the telephone I've spoken with who have said, "I want to axe you.." "AHHHHH!!" - runs for her life from crazed maniacal axe-murderer.

Could you pass me a vanilla envelope please. Or this one! Can you itch my back for me.
AAAAAHHHHHHHH! Me too!! That one has annoyed me since childhood.
