hey glad you are back- riggs and I were talking last night- we have a bunch of newer members recently, but we had not heard from Pipsar lately!


Thanks for tunin in from across The Big Drink! I'm glad that the broadcast feed from our aluminum foil tower makes it all the way to Europe!

Well JD it's 2053 and  I have recently enjoyed a big plate of pasta mixed with cherry tomatoes and red & green peppers with a bit of french dressing...and now a cup of tea,,(gotta go and boil the kettle now lol... fair do's though as Mark cooked!)

I was reading about your lightbulb in another thread,


When I was courting we bought a long life economy bulb (in 1990/91) we married and moved in together and that bulb came along too... In 2002 we moved and so did that lightbulb... I have now left my husband (my ex now) and he has custody of the lightbulb...which died a couple of years ago so...aged about12 - 13 years old.....poor thing

LOL AMAZING LIGHTBULB STORY!!!


it going out must have seemed like losing a pet! granted, maybe like a pet frog or worm, or gecko or something, but that is an amazingly long lasting bulb! I am impressed!

It was when those economy long life bulbs first came out on the market...it was quite the monster!!!
