Between you and me, the Beatles are one of the most over-rated bands EVER.

Well, in my humble opinion anyway.

I've come to appreciate some of their music though, I really love YESTERDAY.

Well Ruby, it's a sliding scale.

It's GREAT in it's own category.

I think it's like this. When I was a kid I would listen to Sheena Easton, Wendy & Lisa, Prince, Sheila E., and others like that.

It was a SUB-SET of music.

I loved the 80's, and I mean the WHOLE 80's. I can pull a Hot 100 page out from 1984 and probably say I love 95 of the songs on it.

A lot of the Sheila E., Wendy & Lisa stuff never really charted very highly, and therefore it always felt kind of like it was your own. It wasn't overly popular but I LIKED it, and that made it feel like it was mine.

Also, for a 14 year old boy it was a sexier sound that quite honestly I probably wouldn't play on the stereo for my Mom & Dad to hear.

AAAAAAAAAAANYWAY,

Long story short,

PCD just brings back a lot of memories of how neat that segment of music seemed to me when I was a kid. It's kind of bad, but not really. It's not rap music, talking about b*tches and hoes and dropping f-bombs and what have you. Now that I have no use for.

But PCD is a good kind of bad in my view.

Ok, I don't think any of that made sense, but I tried

I will not have you besmerch the good name of that woman!

She's no hoe! She's just going after someone she likes is all.

And I'll remind you, the song says "I bet you wish your GIRLFRIEND was as hot like me", so it's not like she's trying to break up a marriage!

Maybe I've only been dating my girlfriend for a week! She would have every right to try and get in there and say "WHOA, WAIT A MINUTE MISTER, YOU'RE BACKING THE WRONG HORSE, She's all wrong for you, let me tell you why!"

  " Saturday songs" are the best.  It's like The Curly Shuffle sounds better on Saturday than any other day of the week .
