RE: NFL PLAYOFF CENTRAL

Tick Tock Clarice

Time is running out for Lovie Dovey and the bad news Bears.

29 - 21

Defense is looking pretty average in the big game

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

The ONLY thing WORSE than the Packers NOT being in playoff contention is the BEARS BEING in playoff contention.

I am now a happy man. Go home Grossman. You gotta rest up so you're ready to hurt yourself this fall.

Sorry Ruby & Mo, I DO feel for you guys. I know you love your Bears. Maybe someday they'll discover a cure for that

Thanks for the sympathy riggsy, but it is unwarrented...it was a very good year this year...and the bears are team on the rise...the defense is signed for quite a while & the offense is seeing sparks of brilliance....give Grossman some more time in game situations & I only see good things in the Bears future....

The Packers on the other hand, I see a team on the slide...After a couple mediocre seasons & backing thier way into the playoffs, they finally show thier true colors this season, they have a 4-12 record, fired thier head coach, & Mr. Can't Even Spell His Last Name Right is heading out to pasture..... the good times in the land of the cheesewheel are gone.....The NFC north is now Bears Country!!!!

Oh my poor, poor, disillusioned friend from the fllatland.

You could not be more mistaken.

Times will definately not be as glorious for the Pack in the near future, becaue Favre is on his way out, but if you really think you're Bears are on the rise you need to stop drinking, or START.

I can not beleive the enthusiasm you guys put behind Grossman. Three full seasons and this was his EIGHTH GAME!

You have no idea what you have with him yet, but more important you shhould have every reason to suspect that he will not be capable of putting in a full season.

Your defense, while impressive, was over-rated and played over their head all year. Next year everyone will have adjusted to their style and they'll drop to the seventh or eighth defense (still not bad, but not great).

I don't know what the Packers future holds, but I know next year the Bears, forced to play a tougher schedule thanks to their surprising performance, will, like the last time they went 13-3, will follow it up with a 500 season at best.

It's great to have a good defense. But GREAT teams are COMPLETE teams. The Bears are a one-dimensional talent.

At least we were kicking a field goal with a chance to tie. But I have never seen Vanderjagt miss that badly. I was in the tunnel opposite and as soon as it left his foot it was bad. So bad that the goal post could have been twice as wide to the right and he still would have missed it.
Right now football is over for me. I'll probably watch a little but....

Yeah, like i told Mz, I can sympathize.

EVERYONE thought this game was a given. Maybe the players did too.

the big consolation now is betting. get your money into the pools. that makes the rest of the games worth watching. that plus the stones at 1/2 for the superbowl!

Ray, Mz and Ultimo...

The Colts had a great season...I was hoping they could regroup and make it to Super Bowl XL....thamks to Mo, us Wisconsinites know that means 40 in Roman numerals. (Who were the Roamns?)

I feel badly for Tony Dungy because now he has to face the full weight of his Family tragedy.

To all the Bear fans out there...congratulations on a fine season. See you twice next year....once at your house and once at our place.

I really think holding out guys hurt. Peyton was far from Peyton like. His brother, not Eli, was in the tunnel and he was feeling the pain of his brother. He was up and down and at one point on his knees with his head on the turf. But when Bettis fumbled I thought we had a chance. Oh well.

I just hope Edge is with them. He proved his worth to this team this year. I don't know if they re-sign him. The last two years the offense has been the problem in the playoffs. The defense played well for being on the field tooooooo much. Hey it was a good year. I'm really upset that I don't get another game and another check from the NFL. The Colts owe me some cash. LOL

LOL Yeah I've been corrupted. But when I say "we" meaning the team I feel like I have every right since "we" draw paychecks signed by the same guy. After all doesn't that make us co-workers? They have a job with the organization and so do I!
