Nightwatch

That sounds totally cool! I love that sort of stuff. Unfortunately, it's past my bedtime. Is there any way to get podcasts of those?

yes mz- there will be a podcast link put up on the podcasts page, but YOU CAN'T LISTEN TO IT DURING FREEZE FRAME TIME!!! Otherwise you can visit the Nightwatch home page and get it, linked here from the Programs page.

Actually, I was thinking about downloading it to my mp3 player and listening to it during workouts.

YOu might want to wait for next weeks show before you start downloading.

Yesterdays was a "best of" but I didn't really care for it because instead of spending the two hours really delving into a subject it was just 5 minutes at a time of high points from the whole year.

These things are HUGE!!!! I decided to download one to listen to while I work out tonight, and I decided to download it while I ate lunch. On my DSL connection, this thing is going to take 20 minutes!!! I hope I get it all done before I have to go back to work. Am I doing something wrong?

No Mz, they're actually that big, they're about an hour and a half each.

I have to say they haven't had some of their best shows lately. I'll be curious to see what you think.

I've been a little disappointed.

I ended up downloading it to my MP3 player from work, and I'll just let Mz borrow it tonight. I'll probably end up listening to it after her. So I'm sure one of us will let you know!

Beware, the guys doing two things that I think are a bit unprofessional.

He's listing his ever-growing list off affiliates at the start of the show, which is kind of annoying because it takes 5 - 10 minutes before you even START to talk about the topic of the day.

And he's running a lot of station promo's throughout the show (for stations OTHER than the one he's on).

Hm, I'll have to see if I can fast forward through that. I don't think I can on my MP3 player though.

Nope, I can't FF on my MP3 player. The first 15 minutes was just junk, but the rest is okay. A lot of listening to bad recordings (this is the one from 2 weeks ago). I'm pretty into the ghost hunting stuff, and all I can keep thinking is that they broke a cardnal rule: they were talking while recording ghost voices, so it's easy to dismiss as just someone talking or breathing.

You know Mz,

That's what I was thinking too. Shut up and let the ghosts do the talking!

I mean, EVP's are usually hard enough to hear without the bonehead investigator talking through the whole thing!

The best shows they do are the ones where he's just interviewing ghost hunters and getting stories about their searches.

Not exactly. These "investigators" were ghost hunting in this old house (or something like that, I'm not exactly sure what it was), and recording throughout the whole thing in addition to taking video and pictures and temperature scans and such. Then you would hear strange noises or voices on the recording. But the investigators were talking throughout the whole thing, so there's no way to tell whether it was just someone talking.
