I had to make room for my new office speakers and decided to clean up the office a bit. I picked up the pile of pop cans, started throwing away old notes, small boxes, etc.
Underneath all that I found a desktop! I haven't seen that for a long time!
That felt so good, I got the vacuum and started on the floor. Guess what else I found . . . carpet!
Woo Hoo!
Still working on the desk. Gotta rotate all the old catalogs with the new ones.
Wow Web! Well done. I did that between Christmas and New Year's when I was off. I was losing the floor. Things were just piled around. I did three months of filing. That helped right there. Sifting and sorting cleared up some more. Eventually, I arrived at a floor that I could once again vacuum without fear of sucking up papers.

I help Mz out with the same thing this weekend! She had this tiny little computer desk that couldn't even fit both her monitor and printer. Her printer was on a file cabinet next to the computer desk. And then she had this huge bulky desk that just collected paperwork. It was too bit to put next to the computer desk, so it was pushed against the wall. She went out and got one of those corner desks this weekend, and compared to what she had, it's huge! So we had to clean off the other two desks to put the new one up. With putting the desk together and moving everything, it took about 4 hours! But man, it looks so nice and is so much more efficient than what she had before!
I went shopping yesterday and bought a new chair, ottoman, and rug for the living room! its amazing how new furnature shows just how cluttery the rest of the place is in a new light! I gots to do housecleaning tonight!

Well I am proud of you all. I am one of those very anal people that must have OCD. I never let things pile up more than a day! I drive my family crazy too! Everything in its place right away please!
I will admit that only happens in the "office". The rest of the house is relatively clean. Sometimes the kitchen table gathers papers before I take them up to the office.

Just to clarify- my whole house is not a mess and would be a lot cleaner if I was home more. But since I'm not it seems to pile up quickly. Especially the dishes and the mail.
