Saturday morning!

Did not sleep well last night. Dreams of killing the boy kept me up.

I have a busy day today.  My hubby is working days so I actually will get to go out tonight.  This once every other month thing is killing me.  With the level of stress in my life, I  need to go out at least once a month, if not more.  That sounds bad, but it's true.  Gotta release the poisons from your system.  ANYWAY, enough on that.  I have to go get groceries at Kroger today.  I am trying to eliminate Walmart from my life as much as possible.  Kroger is a half an hour away, just like walmart, but in a different direction.  If I watch what I buy, I save just as much and sometimes more.  It's also a small town grocery store and the girls that work there are super nice, so they are getting my business.  The plus side to it is that my hubby's grandmother (who I absolutely love), lives in that town.  SO, the kids and I go there to shop and stop by to see Grandma E. first.  She's going to be 90 next week and this is something that I am really glad that I'm doing.  She has the beginnings of Alzheimer's and doesn't remember much, but she remembers that we'll be there on Saturday and that we were there.  That says something.  After all that is done, I have to come back here and clean house.  Then I have to try and squeeze in some work.  I brought work home with me on my days off.  I know, I'm crazy.  I hid it from my hubby so he wouldn't yell at me about it.  Then it's off to a dodgeball tournament that my hubby is playing in.  That should be interesting.  I enjoyed it last time he played, although I will admit I was skeptical at first.  Then after that is over, it's time to party.  I don't care if I have to dance to the jukebox, I'm going out and letting my hair down.  Who knows?  I may dance on the bar!

Have fun today, Ruby.  It is so cute that E is in tap.  I wish I could get my girl in tap, but it's so far away from here.  She likes to put on her heeled shoes and pretend she tapping, but it's just for amusement.  It looks nothing like tapping.  It looks like she's having a small seizure.  Have a great w/e!

That's really cool.  They don't even have a daycare around here any more.  They used to have one, but they turned it into a head start facility.  Makes it really hard to find someone to watch my daughter during the summer.

I miss Dave.  He's so much fun.  I keep meaning to get a pic of me in my new boots for him, but I just haven't been able to get it done.  Can't find the USB cable for my camera.  I have no idea where it went.  Dave will just have to use his imagination.

Gosh no daycare- you must live in a really tiny town- we have 100s!

Zach went to this one, I tried to get one closer when E was born, but after two months I realized I needed to drive out of my way to make sure E is taken care of the way I would! She is the daycare diva! She rules the roost and everyone loves her- she will tell you that too- EVERYONE LOVES EMILY!

Molly is in Kindergarten now, so it's not a big deal during the school year, but the summer kills us.  Joey doesn't have to have someone to watch him because my hubby works midnights and he's there during the day and if Joey needs him, he just wakes him up, but Molly is another story.  That girl needs constant supervision.  That girl is mischief personified.  Don't know where she gets that from.

Molly is the fashion diva at school.  She is going to be in for such a shock next year when she starts private school and has to wear a uniform.

I can believe that Emily rules the roost.  She gets her sassiness from her mom, no doubt.

But of course!  She is really outgoing though and that really attracts people to her. She is so Hollywood and tells people that. She will start fake crying for no reason and says she is ready to go to Hollywood! I do not know where that came from. She really could do it I think, but alas- CP's house is sooo far!

Good morning ladies. I'm about to put the coffee on. After that I'm cranking the tunes and cleaning up the house. The wife has to work today because her company changed operating systems. This is the third one in five years. It went in operation at the beginning of the year and it's still got bugs. They have to post something like $40 million in invoices. So I'm home with the kids.

When you say that you make it sound like work- they are probably thinking- ugh we are home with Dad!

We are still working out the bugs from our new system that was put in in December. The bad part is a lot of the faculty refuse to learn how to use it, so our office is having to pick up the slack! I feel her pain!

It will be work. They don't like to clean the house. It doesn't take long with all of us doing it. It's just the mental thing for them. But it will get done.

Now I'm going to request a weeks worth of music and make coffee. BRB

What a refreshing change.  When my hubby's home with the kids, I come home to a trashed house.  How nice that you are making your kids help clean house.  Your wife is very lucky.  My dad used to make us clean house for my mom when she was at work on Sat.  He would lay down on the couch and watch us.  He said he was "supervising".  He taught us reality from the get go.  Little did we know how much we were learning about management at that age.

When I was a kid we couldn't go out and play until the house was clean. We would help mom sweep, dust, clean the bathrooms. It seemed like it took forever but really maybe an hour of two. I always felt like I had accomplished something. But we don't do that around here. If my wife didn't have to work it would be a race between her and the girls to see who would be last up. They like sleeping in. I'll do it once in a while but I'm usually up before everyone.

I'm only going to get to go out from about 10 p.m. to midnight, but I'm going to make those two hours count!  How many shots of tequila can you do in two hours and still get up for church the next morning?  I'm going to test it and let you all know.    I'll be the talk of the town tomorrow, but hey, at least they'll be giving someone else a break.

Well I did ten one night- but I did not get up and go to church the next morning- the next morning was spent hunting down who stole my car and my purse! Would advise against it!

Ray's cleaning house . . . better not let Mrs. Web read that . . . don't want her getting ideas.

Hope you have fun and get unwound tonight, Trish.

Hi Ruby & Dave!

I hope Mz and/or Molly comes back in today. I don't think either one of them posted at all yesterday. I miss them when they are not here.

Hi JR too!

mornin Web   I'd do that cleaning thing but it's hard to make a bed when Buttercup is sleeping in it and a vacuum would wake up Snowball , laundry is out too as Gamby has crawled into the pile and went to sleep.  guess I'll just leave the radio on low and drink coffee.

Got our bedroom and bath to clean them I'm on to the car. It started overheating. Opened the hood and the cap was off the coolant reserve. It's low. Apparently when I had the oil changed last month the guys at the garage left it off. At least that's an easy fix. I can't believe it went almost a month like that. I'm very happy the cap was right where they left it. Otherwise I'd have to pay that junkyard price for a new one.
