yesterday I was talking to my friend Christine, she's someone who enjoys bad music and movies as much as I do....   and we got to talking about how much we both loved "Manos" The Hands Of Fate,  and then it got me to realize we're both very demented people, ROFL!!!!


anyone else seen Manos?  it's widely regarded as one of the worst movies of all time, and truly it is,  but it's so bad that you can't help but swear by it.  From the lack of acting talent (it's horrible when the same guy does the voice of both the cop and the guy the cop pulls over and there's no change in speaking voice, since the sound was dubbed in after it was made), to the pseudo lesbianic catfight scene between all of The Master's wives, to the character of Torgo, it's frankly one of the greatest pieces of cinematic feces ever filmed, but at the same time, Christine and I both think the movie is great

1960's low budget horror film, but it was on Mystery Science Theater once.    Basically your typical "family's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and end up staying in a house owned by a demon and all his Playboy bunny-wannabe wives".   It truly is one of the most laughable and worst movies ever filmed, but yet my friend and I both just loved it because it was something that never fails to make you laugh your butt off watching.

so did you check it out JD?   my friend and a bunch of her co-workers are actually going to do a Rocky Horror-ized version of that movie in a few Saturdays.   I wish I lived in Texas to see that, haha

aw my video store didn't have it! I swear, wauwatosa, where I live (within Milwaukee) has the WORST HOLLYWOOD VIDEO EVER!!!! There was this awesome video store on the east-side that had EVERYTHING! it was independently owned, but I think the dvd age just killed them and they went under....I KNOW they woulda had it.

trust me, the replay value of it is priceless.    It's so bad it's fantastic.   My favorite "bad moment" comes about one minute into it when the cop pulls Mike over, and both actors are speaking in the same voice (the movie was filmed silently and then redubbed later).
