Favorite Game

We haven't done one of these for a while, possibly because we've already done most everything! But I don't remember this one. What's your favorite game of all time (and I'm not talking sports or video games).

For me, I'd say I still love to play Mall Madness. A nice simple mindless game, and you can even play by yourself. I also played Apples to Apples once and loved it, as well as Balderdash.

For quick and fun games with friends where you can play and still visit and talk about other stuff, I would say "Farkle".

I also relly like playing 30 point pitch with our friends in Lincoln.

I grew up in a family that played a LOT of games.  I think my favorite was Cribbage.  I also like a good game of Backgammon.

Scrabble was our family favorite. Otherwise I'd have to say K-B Football. Can't tell you how many times we got kicked out of K-B Toys for that!

I love double deck pinochle. My dad has 5 sisters and 2 brothers and when the whole family gets together, we play pinochle. My parents used to have pinochle parties (up until my grampy died) and they were always a lot of fun. My dad taught me how to play when I was 10. He would drill the basics into my head and would smile proudly when I did something right. I LOVED that feeling. That is one of my happiest childhood memories.

I also love the game Encore, where you get a card with a word on it and you have to think of as many songs with that word in it as possible in a certain amount of time (and sing it). I love music and so that game was always fun. I need to get that one. I haven't played it in years.

I like to play Uno Attack with the kiddos. My daughter squeels with laughter when the cards shoot out. That sound is priceless.

If you got the game. I've only played it with the in-laws who have it.

My hubby only plays one game in walmart -

Bumper cars (for all those people that think it's all right to take up the whole aisle while they gab).

You do NOT want to take him Christmas shopping.

I love Encore...or any music trivia game for that matter. I'm pretty good at most trivia games. My brain retains so many stupid things...

Wow!  I didn't know we had a Bachelor #4!  I'm sooooooooooo lucky!

I haven't tried cribbage on Yahoo games yet - I might have to.

I also like chess(not on Yahoo but live) but have only played a few times with my kids - they're the ones who taught me.  I would like to make a table for the living room for chess/checkers & backgammon.  Well I shouldn't say "make" a table - more like buy a garage sale find and decorate it with tile or paint.

Yeah, I hate playing chess online, I'm only a casual player and those people are usually die hard. I learned how to play from a Nintendo video game!!!!
