Nothing beats having pink eye the day you start a brand new job. It was Memorial Day weekend, and I thought I may be getting pink eye but I wasn't sure and there was nothing I could do on the holiday anway. And the next day I statrted a new job. Talk about embarrassing. You can't call out on your first day. I didn't even know who to call anyway. I made it a half a day and then my boss sent me home.

G'morning all. I have utterly no clue what kind of day it's shaping up to be. I'm still not really awake yet. I did note that it's sunny and almost 50 already outside. The hubby told me this morning that today is going to be good weather wise, but the bottom is supposed to drop out on us over the weekend. Hopefully this will be a mellow day. I was on a conference call last night that was supposed to be only half an hour long. Alas, it ended up being 2.5 hours in the middle of the night.

I'll try to wake up in a bit here.
