Be honest now...

Aren't most of you going to miss the heart background and the coloring of this forum when we return to drab old white background and light blue or something after Valentines day?

People were all like "ooooooooh, it hurts my eyes" at first, but isn't it kind of comforting now?

HMMMMMMMMMMMM!?!?!?!??!

Well I think it should go to something green for St. Patrick's next.

That would give a good contrast.

Valentine's Day is a useless holiday. It is such the opposite of what truly happened on that day.

Now, at least St. Patrick's Day is useful. Drink 'til you drop. Since it is Friday this year, I am thinking of taking the day off.

That would be a good thing!

In fact, now that I think about it, YOU BELONG IN THE Molly, Myndi & Mel thread I started!

You're another "M" member who's not around enough!

Since you asked . . . personally, I'm a "plain" kind of guy, so I won't be upset with the simple colors.

I have my email software set to strip out all html so I don't have to try to read people's light blue text on a slightly darker blue background with flower borders and written in some kind of strange font that is barely readable. I get black 10 point Verdana text on a nice white clean background. Every time. Its boring, but I can read it.

JD- you might hate to hear this- but to have an incredible and unforgetable St Patrick's Day- you have to go to Chicago!

During my senior year a group of us went downtown via the train. The river is dyed green and the pubs are full of green beer! And they were not carding!  That was definitely one of the best days of my life. Only problem was I ended up in Champaign IL at night which was about 100 miles the wrong way! Drink too much and the guy that took care of me took me back to his dorm!

That was amazing as I did not know they did that till I got the picture from a rep in Chicago

And JD you have to come to Mardis Gras in St. Louis (Soulard). According to Wikipedia it is the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the country. I've never been, but I've heard it's awesome!

I love downtown chicago! seeing the river green like that would be cool!

And hey I had no idea st louis does a mardi gras- makes perfect sence tho! I'd be more apt to check that one out-

I was thinking that when I was down in New Orleans, I liked the relative lack of drunken crowds. I saw pics of burbon street that were just wall to wall people, and I liked the fact that when we were there you could go into any bar, sit down, get served, talk with the bartender, listen to the music....

Yes, I think my days of wanting to be part of a drunken mass are over......I put up with it at summerfest because the music is worth it......but yea I guess maturity is setting in.....or is it arthritus LOL.....

Ouch Dave!

I'm gonna have a tough time falling asleep after that comment!

You're ALWAYS honest, so when I ask for everyone to be honest I think it would be best if you took that opportunity to hide your true feelings.

So lets try this one more time.

Hey Dave! Whaddya think of the Valentines Day background?
