Aren't most of you going to miss the heart background and the coloring of this forum when we return to drab old white background and light blue or something after Valentines day?
People were all like "ooooooooh, it hurts my eyes" at first, but isn't it kind of comforting now?
Since you asked . . . personally, I'm a "plain" kind of guy, so I won't be upset with the simple colors.
I have my email software set to strip out all html so I don't have to try to read people's light blue text on a slightly darker blue background with flower borders and written in some kind of strange font that is barely readable. I get black 10 point Verdana text on a nice white clean background. Every time. Its boring, but I can read it.
JD- you might hate to hear this- but to have an incredible and unforgetable St Patrick's Day- you have to go to Chicago!
During my senior year a group of us went downtown via the train. The river is dyed green and the pubs are full of green beer! And they were not carding! That was definitely one of the best days of my life. Only problem was I ended up in Champaign IL at night which was about 100 miles the wrong way! Drink too much and the guy that took care of me took me back to his dorm!
And JD you have to come to Mardis Gras in St. Louis (Soulard). According to Wikipedia it is the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the country. I've never been, but I've heard it's awesome!
