I just got done with my walk and listening to one of my weekly podcasts.
Tonight, I listened to the "Security Now" podcast and for the next few weeks, they are talking about how the basic core of the Internet works.
I realize that this is probably more geeky than most of you even want or care to know, but in case someone is interested, the mp3 can be downloaded HERE.
Just click on the little speaker by the "24 MB" under episode #25 and that will be the best version. This episode is about IP numbers, packets, and routers and what they do to get the FFR forum to your screen. It may still sound like a bunch of gobelty gook to you, but I think Steve Gibson does a very good job of making it about as simple as it can be explained.
Allison was banging on the keyboard a while back and now I have no tool bar at the bottom telling me what sites I have open. When I - down a window I can't see it to open it back up again. Anyone have any ideas?

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Taskbar and Start Menu
Then check and see if "Auto-Hide The Taskbar" is checked. If it is, uncheck it. If it is checked now, moving your mouse to the bottom of your screen should make it pop up.
If that's not the problem, we'll have to look somewhere else.
Sparky, if you can't even find the Start button, look around the edges of your screen for a line, almost like you're just barely seeing the top of the bar. When you find it, right click and make sure that Lock the Taskbar is not checked. Then, put your mouse over it so you get the double sided arrow, and click and drag towards the middle of the screen. You can make it as skinny or fat as you want it. Then, if it's on the "wrong" part of your screen, click on an empty spot on the toolbar, and drag it towards the bottom. There, you should be back to the way you're used to.
