Ick, today will be a mix of rain and snow. Hopefully the birthday boys and girl will have better weather! I'll eat an extra peice of chocolate for you at Chocolate Fest!

Chocolate Fest? Please elaborate MZ!

A local charity does an event every year where people submit their chocolate creations and people win prizes in several categories. Then they open their doors to the public, and for $10 you can sample everything! Businesses come in, such as the wineries and Starbucks and Godiva and set up booths too and give away chocolate and such. It's two floors of the conference center of nothing but chocolate! It's so much fun, but I usually don't want any chocolate for a month after!

Cool sounds like fun- even though I do not care for chocolate, I bet something would appeal to me!

cloudy and 28 here in brewtown this morning. today is an oil-change day for me as well, have to head out of here pretty soon to get that taken care of.

had tentative plans to go to the symphony tonight and get italian food, look like that's turning into the capote film and mexican due to issues of tickets selling out and reservations being filled. either way it will be a nice evening.

I'm disappointed . . . "SuitSat" was a flop.

The International space station had an old Russian space suit to get rid of so they packed it with a ham radio transmitter, batteries, and a voice synth that was to report, temperature, telemetry, and a message in five different languages.

It was released about noon yesterday and it would be going overhead here about 2:00am. I was going to stay up and see if I could hear it and record the messages. About 1:30, I was going to go get all set up so I'd be sure and be ready. I decided I'd search for news on it to see if there was anything yet and I found an article that said it was released but it only transmitted about two orbits then quit.
