WOO HOO!

I'm so excited! Brand new song from Chicago ("Feel") on February 14, and a whole new CD ("Chicago XXX") on March 21!!!!!

Here's the Official Press Release

All the horns are still there, and Jason Scheff is still the lead singer!

DID I MENTION I CAN'T WAIT!!!

It even has an album cover with that classic Chicago feel to it...

I really enjoy chichago.... people are soemtimes surprised with my taste in music... Im only 23 and love all the 80's stuff while im working... when Im our dancing.. I like the hip-hop dance stuff, and I even like counrty! I might be going to see Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw in Boston in a few months... HEHE if its music- I like it.

I saw Faith Hill / Tim McGraw on their Spontaneous Combustion tour (the one they met and fell in love on).

It was a GREAT show! I had second row seats so I was right up to see just how cute Faith is. She's like a little ball of fire running around that stage.

Tim really rocked too. He opened with RENEGADE which right away gave the show more of a rock and roll tone than a country tone.

It was probably my second favorite concert ever.

I really like the Chicago early stuff 25-or-6-2-4 (or however they do that). Saturday in The Park....I've played these on the jazz show....let me know if there's something extra horny on here that I could play to the jazz crowd?

Yeah, I was a big fan of all their stuff back to the beginning, but I have ot be honest and say the 80's stuff is what REALLY made me like em.

Peter Cetera just has a crystal clear voice and is perfect for those power ballads.

Jason Scheff sounds so much like Cetera to me that I'm almost glad they broke up so I can get double the music (not so much now anymore though. Cetera hasn't put anything out in quite awhile).

Wow, all this talk about Chicago and Peter Cetera made me want to check out his site to see what's up with him.

Two thoughts.

ONE, it may well be the WORST official fan site on the internet. It's HORRID.

TWO, he is a much goofier guy than I EVER would have expected. He just blurts out whatevers on his mind. It's cool that he's actually the one kind of running it and talking on it, but it's a real mess. Must be too cheap to have someone design it for him.

Well I saw the album in the store today, but I decided against picking it up on impulse today....I figured by Buddies At FFR would have given it a spin first.....anyone heard the tunes? is it good stuff?....

nice to see these guys are finally back with a new cd... it's been so many years since the last record.  It's been one Greatest Hits album after another since.


Is the bad blood between Cetera and the rest of the guys still there?  I would love to see him get back with the guys for a tour or something.   But they did just fine without him in the mid to late 80's.
