Hey JD,

Don't forget to include your winnings in April. They just did a news story before the game started reminding us that gambling winnings are taxable.

Which, i TOTALLY don't understand. Gambling is illegal, but they'll take taxes out of it. Talk about your mixed signals.

I wonder if the IRS is under a client privilege information situation. If you report your winnings will they turn you over to the cops?

I didn't think there was any lipsynching going on, but the sound probems during the first song were unfortunate, expecially at the start.

Now that you've suggested it though I'm rewinding and watching again. If I see anything fishy I'll report.

I don't like football but I'm watching the game with my hubby tonight. Why? He's sick & has control of the remote. %&*$@@*)

Maybe it had something to do with the five second delay Dave.

It was delayed because they wanted to avoid any problems like last year.

I wouldn't let to many know about that remote thing or this time next year every guy in America will suddenly get 'the sniffles'

truth is , we guys let you gals watch 'your shows' all year so we can get the remote for a few hours ,   we  say things like -but honey , I let YOU watch all YOUR shows ALL year , is it asking to much for a few minutes so tomorrow I'll know what all the other guys are talking about ?

This has been the worst season of football I've ever experienced.

My team SUCKED out loud, and every team I threw my support behind the rest of the season failed to win

I can't stand the Steelers, so OF COURSE they beat the Hawks

I don't know, it looked like he was straightening up his hair to get ready to walk over there.

If he did shaft him that's pretty lame!

Yeah, I thought it was odd they didn't show the two shaking hands myself.

Maybe Holmgren is a sore loser!

Congrats to anyone who won anything in the office pool.

Now, as far as tax ramifications JD and JR (the short version), you can offset your taxable winnings with losses that you may have incurred in the same year.

I'm not so sad to say that I fell asleep during the superbowl.

Control of the remote the rest of the year? How in the heck do you get that? I'm missing out! I have watched more wrestling than I care to admit. Man, I hate wrestling. That might draw some criticism, but I really loathe it.

I don't know about all y'all but the excitment of Super Bowl 40 was NOT on the football game, but rather Animal Planet, where PUPPY BOWL II was on.  It was hilarious.  8+ hour of puppies on a football field running back and forth. And as an added bonus, the Kitty Halftime Show, where you guessed it, kitties ran around playing and wrestling.  It was HILARIOUS!

Am I the only person that saw this?

I watched about 10 minutes of this, but those energetic little pups made me feel tired!
