Great American Worker Hang-Over Day

Ah yes- a traditional holiday the day after the superbowl- the great american worker hang-over day!!

How many of you are in offices across the united states today where-

20% of the people called in sick.

Even those who are there are eeerily quiet except for the ones who are not hung-over but are being doubly abnoxious because they know everyone else is.

It's impossible to get into the bathroom today.

Everyone's eyes are beet red.

Normally pleasant people look like they want to kill people.

You can spot those who didn't even bother showering this morning.

Slurry speech from those who must talk on the phone.

Yes indeed, its the great american worker hang-over day!!

I can't even imagine coming in ON A MONDAY totally hungover.  Despite the few beers I had, I'm ok on my end.  Same seems to be the case around the office.

We have quite a few 20-somethings around here.....plus being Milwaukee, The Superbowl and winter, the odds were stacked against these folks that they would be hang-over free today.

That Milwaukee's Best will crawl up and kick yer bootie.

...and then work its way out the other end. Ahhhh...I have fond memories of the Beast.
No hangover for me. My party day is this coming Sat. and if my husband pulls another one like last time, I may need help finding a place to bury the body.

Most everyone in my office who knows they are partying hard for the Superbowl is considerate enough to schedule the Monday after off.  We have several people who did that, including my boss.  Probably a good thing he did... I sent out a "WOO HOO STEELERS" text message to a bunch of folks last night, and my boss was the only one drunk enough to actually call back. He cracks me up.

Alas, no hangover for me. My drinking consisted of water and Airborne. Dang cold!!

At that age, I think a whole lotta things are more about quantity than quality!
