Another version of "When You Say Nothing At All"?

Wow!  Paul Overstreet & Don Schiltz must be raking in the money with this one!  (Not that they don't deserve to - I think they're two of the best writers in Nashville.)  I'd never heard this version before.

Really?

This is my favorite version (although I really like the Allison Kraus one too), but I think Ronan Keating has a great voice, and I prefer to hear the song sung from a guys perspective.

I had to play this one because I've been singing it in the car during my route for the last five days and keep forgetting to play it when I get home. Hopefully now it will be out of my head

Do you know Keith Whitley's orginal hit version? My Mom was so depressed when he died.  But then A. Krauss recorded it, and some DJ somewhere made a mix of both of their versions, and everyone loved it, so it was later officially released, and became another huge hit.  (Actually the same thing that happened with Will To Power's "Baby I Love Your Way / Freebird.")  Which I guess goes to show that you - Riggs - have the power in your hands!  In other words, You am a DJ, you am what you play"

Yeah I like that mixed version of Keith Whitley & Alison Krauss.

That's right, I remember that!

Hmmm, time to head into the mixing room. Perhaps a little Frank Zappa, mixed in with some Patsy Cline, and just a dash of AC/DC. BOOM! I got a hit on my hands!

I think the lyrics and melody to that song are so good that just about anybody could sing it and make it sound good. It's really a beautiful song.

True.  Like I said, those guys are both such excellent songwriters.  It's amazing how many great songs they've churned out over the years!
