hey- I was just browsing around the knot.com and found this company, called freeze frame....


  they freeze dry flowers and put them in picture frames... all the like said was Freeze Frame.. i thought FFR was a partner with the Knot... LOL

The sad thing is - that was one of my favorite songs to rollerskate to at Carousel Rink in Huntsville, AL. I thought I was so cool with my jean skirt (with a rainbow iron on patch) and my white rollerskates with the pink pom poms on 'em. Sigh. Those were the days.

Had I had the money, I would have changed them with my outfits (though I ALWAYS wore the jean skirt. Thought I looked so cool in it.). Ahhh...to save up my allowance to go rollerskating again!

Talk about fall down drunks. They would be everywhere because it would be so much easier to fall.

We used to roller skate drunk it was a blast. We also used to ski drunk, gotta watch out for the trees though.

I had white skates with baby blue pom poms too!!!! I think mine had bells on them though too...

I tried skating a few years ago.  Man, I was totally wobbly and I wasn't even drinking.  I think it was probably a fear thing because I'm old & I might fall & break a hip or something. 


Man, in the Old Days I could whip around the rink, too.  (sigh)  Getting old sucks...but it beats NOT getting old.

Can't skate, Won't skate!!


My 12 year old went today for only her 2nd time...


She wasn't keen on the trying to move on ice bit...but the birthdy party bit appealed.


She saw a lady fall over...said lady stood up...noticed that another skater had severed her thumb ...fainted and smashed her head on the ice and knocked herself out...


Didn't do anything for Rachel's confidence lol

I went ice skating a lot when we lived in Germany and was pretty good at it if I do say so myself (because no one else will ). I went a few years ago and was amazed at the difference being about 125 pounds heavier will make you not able to do it so well anymore. I would like to go again now and see if I got my balance back. I doubt it, but it would be fun to try.

I havent' gone skating in toooooooo many years!  An adult skating rink w/alcohol would be about my speed now!
