Christmas Tree Still Up??

Heading to my car this evening, I noticed that 2 of my neighbors still have their Christmas trees up. Not only that, the lights were lit!! Its nearly 2 months past Christmas! Is your Christmas tree still up???

  after much thought I have narrowed it down to 3 things.


  1 - they are firm believers in thee ole " it's easier to flip a switch than take down the tree " doctrine


 2 - they are still waiting on presents to come via the U.S. Mail .


 3 - their dead and no one knows it. the lights are on a timer so everyone thinks their lazy but their not, their dead.

Maybe they have a family member in the military. I know some people will leave them up until their loved one returns from service.

yeah, i have a couple neighbors that still have their trees up and/or their yard decorations still out because they have someone overseas.  i have a friend who celebrated christmas in july a couple years ago when her son and family returned stateside from germany.

My tree makes it to January 6th and then comes down. But I have known people to leave the tree up if they are awaiting a family members return from the service or if they have family coming from across the country and they won't be in until the end of January.
