Macaroni and Cheese

I just made Sponge Bob Kraft mac and cheese. I have never made either child this kind, so we will see what they think. Growing up we ate it, but when shells and cheese came out I switched. BUT when we moved south and I had southern mac and cheese pie- that was all that would do. That is all my kids know, so I will be surprised if they like Kraft.

With the boy, we usually get some character mac and cheese. I don't even know what brand we ususally get, but may times its Spongebob, Scooby Do, etc. Tastes the same, just different shape color. Enough to make the boy think is something different.

It has to be regular noodle Kraft kind. No funny shapes, spiral, etc. My hubby prefers homemade with the recipe from his grandma. That's fine too.

We grew up on Kraft. But I fing I enjoy the Velveeta better. It is really about the cheese.

Homemade is the best as long as I don't have to make it.

But if my only two choices are Kraft or Velveeta, I'll pick Kraft. I like the texture better. Velveeta is too gluey.

I didn't really dig mac-n-cheese until college- now its still a staple. I dig the Kraft- but the deluxe one where all you have to do is add the sauce- not milk and butter. gimme the shells too- good stuff!

MACARONI AND CHEESE FOR ONE

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided

My new favorite (other than homemade of course) is Annie's White Cheddar shells and cheese.  Yum!
