Is it me or did that Paul Anka song - Hold Me 'Til the Morning Comes - sound like a Chicago song? Or was it that just that Chicago was the vocals behind Anka? Anyone, anyone?
Good call, Fuzzy.

I knew that JR would know. If not him, than Lady Strange.
I did not know that one. Interesting...

I didn't know about that song until I started this station and was trying that original concept of only playing the Hot 100 from that day. The song was in the low part of the chart and was credited to Anka and Cetera, I nearly flipped!
It was a very tough one to find on CD, but I finally did and was really excited to have discovered it. I think it was from 82 or 83, which is just when I was REALLY starting to get into music, so I never heard it when it was originally out.
Isn't it great? I thinnk she is one of the cleverest songwriters out there. She makes me laugh and cry all the time. This song actually came about because one of her friends was getting married, and said she'd like Amy to write a song for it. But Amy, being the cynical, unromantic type, could only come up with this!
Anyone who has not had the pleasure of seeing her live, do so! She lives in TN now, but still plays in NY (where she's from) now and then.
